user1690
Hey guys, Got Snow Leopard on my HP Compaq 6910p Laptop, but some things arent working and i suspect its the DSDT. I tried some modifying myself but the DSDT was already full of errors and would never compile, i managed to get a application to give me the DSDT regardless of the errors and it is linked below. Could someone take a look at it for me? My problems: No sleep Serious overheating problem (every 4-5seconds the CPU fan will run high and really hot air comes from vents) Battery not detected SDHC and PCMCIA slots dont work, and arent detected at all Ethernet cant be detected at all No screen brightness/dimming. Any help/information is most appreciated. -Thanks. PS: If required, the systems specs are: 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo processor. 2GB RAM (2x1GB Modules) 320GB Hard Disk Intel GMA X3100 GPU Operating Systems: Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Microsoft Windows XP Pro (SP3) If more spec info is required, feel free to ask. dsdt.orig.dsl.zip Edited October 21, 2011 by Guest

jimmycypherz
Most of your problems can be fixed using kexts and patches. I have a 6510b and everything works except sleep. I'm a noob when it comes to DSDT, hopefully i'll learn it and get it fixed. Regarding your problems look in here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=135410
