Loyd
Hello guys ! I just installed VoodooHDA and I apply the introduction of the device id. Unfortunately, none of the microphones (one next to the webcam and the one used with headphones) works! Can anyone help me move forward in solving this problem? Here is my getdump and screen shots showing the elements I have described above. Loyd_elements.zip A big thanks advance. Wonderful forum!! Cassio
Does mic show in VoodooHDA prefPane? You can try different values for Mic, iMix and iGain. Does auto-detect work? You can try this, then you have to select which mic to use in sound preferences. nid 24 0x01a19040 nid 25 0x99a30150 Quote -Donations- PayPal HERE - Stripe HERE - BuyMeaCoffee HERE - Mercado Livre HERE Skrill danielnmaldonado@gmail.com - BTC 33HeGCuCSh4tUBqdYkQqKpSDa1E7WeAJQ3 PicPay @danielnmaldonado - PiX @danielnmaldonado@gmail.com Premium Users HERE - Problems with Paypal HERE
Loyd
I changed all the possibilities in VoodooHDA prefpan, but I do not have access to the preference of iGain. Cassio
A1: Yes. A2: Auto detect is default, we tried to disable it because mic was not working. Did you try just removing that patch in node 11, but don't patch nodes 24 and 25? I guess that node 11 patch (disable) was to avoid larsen effect, but you have other ways to do it (see first post). raziiq
I have a dual boot Windows 7 and Lion 10.7.4. Everything is working except the sound. I have been trying to make sound work for quite some time now but to no avail. SystemInfo.app shows i have a 1c20 Audio Controller. i have an Intel HD audio Controller, an HDMI (Intel HD3000 Graphics) and in Windows Device Manager i can see Conexant (14f1 5069). Also in Windows Device Manager i can see Intel Display® Audio (2805 8606) which is different from what i see in Mac SystemInfo.app (Downloaded from this forum) which is 1c20. I am confused. None of it is working. Speaker on Menu bar is enabled after installing VoodooHDA-v2.7.2 (1c20x8086 already mentioned in info.plist) but no sound at all. I tried alot of kexts but nothing is working. Any suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciable. Thanks

pernacabeluda
when I go in Sound/Output and choose Digital-out (HDMI) it show me "the selected device has no output controls". Hello, I believe this is normal, HDMI output has no output control. Even my satellite receiver (HDMI output) has no volume control, I need to program its remote control to change the volume of the TV set.
