chrissandler2
I have Catalina installed on a desktop. I have a usb speaker and when I try to play audio there is a crackling noise. I'm looking for help on trying to sort it out. Thanks.

chrissandler2
I think the problem is it's not recognizing the usb audio device. Under System Report Audio it's listed as: USB@audio@device: Manufacturer: mmmmmmmmmmmmm And in HackinTool it doesn't list the codec or revision. In Windows 10 this is what the hardware id shows: USB\VID_1D8E&PID_8100&REV_0010&MI_00 USB\VID_1D8E&PID_8100&MI_00
