very slow geekbench performance with Bug Sur

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am new to hackintosh.

I have an acer predator laptop with core i5 8300 H, 16GB RAM, XPG Gammix NVME SSD

I was able to install Big Sur but I feel that the performance is very laggy.

Opening apps is quite slow and in general the performance is very poor, I ran black magic Hard Disk speed test and I get 2400 MB/s Write and 2700 MB/s read speeds so the SSD does not seem to be an issue.

The battery backup is very poor as well.

Installed Big Sur 11.0.1.

My geekbench scores are at https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/11807711

vs

https://browser.geekbench.com/processors/intel-core-i5-8300h

I have attached my config.plist

Please let me know what mistake I am doing.

Thanks
