keyboard not working with AMD installer for Big Sur

Recommended Posts

I am trying to install  Big Sur 11.2 using the installer for AMD 2700x Asus b450  but my keyboard was not registering for me to be able to move cursor to install.  I have used the EFI folder from Olarila since the original would give me kernel panic.
My keyboard is a US 102 keyboard. Any idea how I can get the installer to work with my keyboard?

I was thinking of that. I am wondering if the USB mapping is getting mixed up, will try this tomorrow. My machine wouldn't update from Catalina to Big Sur,  it would just freeze, I'm guessing from kernel panic but can't seem to get the point where the installer panics. I had Big Sur 11.1 working, but lost it when I was trying to fix a Linux problem. I will try your suggestion tomorrow and let you know what the result is.
