install snow leopard problem on msi p35 platinum

Hi i have try to install hazard 10.6.6 on my p35 neo 2 platinum, but installation on drive utility don't recognize any drive sata recognize only cd drive and usb flashpen


this is my machine

intel quad core q9300- MSI p35 platinum (ms-7345) - MSI gtx 560 ti frozer II/OC- 4 GB RAM KINGSTON DDR2 800 HYPERX - ethernet Realtek RTL8168B/8111B - audio Realtek ALC888 - SAMSUNG HD753LJ sata 750gb - seagate barracuda sata 500GB - dvd/rw pionner 111D - win xp pro sp3 - win 7 64 - OCZ MODXSTREAM PRO 600W

after booth cd press f5 insert retail dvd leopard but don't recognize try with hackboot v6 and osx86 mod cd 0.31

ahci not support by my modo in sata drive only on raid (not used by me) video used by me is msi gtx 560 other video is old video driver

Are you using the ICH9 ports? That is SATA3~SATA6

Don't use the Marvell port (SATA7).

In BIOS don't use RAID.


You do have AHCI. Look for it. It's the next option after RAID mode.

AHCI Devices Group

Press to enter the AHCI settings sub-menu. The submenu displays the status of auto detection of IDE devices.

AHCI Port0~5

Press to enter the sub-menu. These submenu allow users to select the type of devices connected to the system.

yes ok ..... my problem is able AHCI on sata disk in bios don't present this option show my jpg file

samsung HD 753LI ATA DEVICE

STR 500320AS ATA DEVICE (SEAGATE)


this HD have necessary set the jumper to AHCI ?

all ok i-m activate AHCI in all system ...i-m try reinstall snow 10.6 my hard drive correct recognize i-m select drive select partiton start format .....ERROR FORMATTING AND LOST ALL PARTITION AND DATA OF DISK !!!!!!!!!!!


im try to recover with systemdisk


is becoming a nightmare !!!!!

hi... i don't have disk for backup 470 GB data ..... have recovery all file thanks to linux systemdisk (beautifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullll utility)


i have installed snow and update to 10.6.8 .... but my video card msi 560 gtx ti don't supported ... in the next day try to install lion ..... nightmare come back :)
