hi

see in bios

execute disable bit

turn on

and post photo of the error

-v GraphicsEnabler=No

good hack

I tried to boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=No and GraphicsEnabler=Yes but same result...

Last line I managed to catch was something like Boot args: Graphics Enabler=No

I can't make screenshot because it restarts so fast!

hi

try again

-v GraphicsEnabler=No Wait=Yes

have u see the execute disable bit in bios ?

good hack

I tried again with -v GraphicsEnabler=No Wait=Yes, After that I can scroll pages using "space" for next page, "p" for previous page and "q" to quit that.. On last page, last line of code was:

Starting Darwin x86_646 bytes.

Boot Args: boot-uuid=6314509F-5BAC-394D-8843-4A4CED0C5266 rd=uuid -v -v Wait=Yes

And Execute disable bit is set to Disable by default.

I deleted all *Nv kexts with transmac but same result.

I will wait for some distro, don't want to bother you.

Anyone had success with Samsung Series 7 Slate?

I got it install OS X 10.8, but at boot stops at:

[iOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState] calling registerService

Tried GraphicsEnabler=No and didn't go any further.

As for deleting kexts. It's little bit more trickier, because I have a developer (BUILD) model of the slate. Bios 5WJ.

It is really picky about what it wants to boot. So want to hear if anyone else has tested this.

Little update for my Samsung Series 7 Slate experiment.

I figured what to do with the graphics and deleted kext files for Intel HD3000.

Booted with GraphicsEnabler=No and got to install some necessary kext files and Chameleon.

Is there some way to get the Intel HD3000 working fully?

My display resolution is now 1024 x 768 and the screens native is 1366 x 768.

Stylus is working fine, but higher resolution would make it even better.

Will look if there is some way to get the wifi to work.

greetings

I'm pleased with the results that I have

is very difficult to get a run at 100x100 hackintosh

So far I could install the graphics but I have QE / CI

and I surrender

the usb working properly

trackpad, audio, wiriless, dualboot.

iwork keynote says it does not have enough graphics memory to work, youtube in chrome not seen the videos and does not go into sleep mode.

Install the kext sleepenable

  and receipt kernel panic

normally enters sleep mode but the button light stays green light

and you can see your mouse pointer.

when I try to enter launchpad starts to increase the fan speed of the CPU. the machine reaches the limit and take long to open the launchpad. I think this is especially due to I need to enable Intel HD Graphics in full.

Tratere create a DSDT but the process is complex and I have a lot of information I need help creating this file

sony vaio VPCEB13FX if anyone can help

I'll be very grateful.

To the person(s) who put this USB image together -- thank you, thank you, thank you!

I used 'dd if=/path/to/dot.raw of=/dev/disk3' (where 'disk3' was the device name of my USB drive) on a Mac mini, took the USB drive over to my newly built Hackintosh (Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3P motherboard, 8GB RAM, Core i5 3570 quad-core processor @ 3.4GHz, integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics, on-board Realtek ALC887 (haven't tried to get it working yet, though it looks like I should be able to); and Realtek 8111DP on-board GigE (worked on first boot).

My only question is video; I've read that the HD 4000 is now supported if you boot with the Chimera boot loader. I'm a n00b at Hackintoshing (and it's been eons since I even built a PC; the last computer I built was a Pentium III-450, when those chips were brand new and state of the art!), so forgive me for asking what's probably a stupid question, but ...

How do I use Chimera if I setup my system using this USB image? I tried downloading Chimera http://www.tonycrapx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=136 and it appeared to install without complaint, but on reboot I'm still stuck with unaccelerated 1024x768 graphics. Meh.

Thanks!!

B.
