Successful installation macOS Catalina 10.15.6 on laptop DELL Inspiron-I5-10th-G Model ( 3493 ) Ice Lake.

  • CFG Lock (MSR 0xE2 write protection)(This must be off, if you can't find the option then enable AppleXcpmCfgLock under Kernel -> Quirks. Your hack will not boot with CFG-Lock enabled)

 Enable

  • VT-x
  • Above 4G decoding
  • Hyper-Threading
  • Execute Disable Bit
  • EHCI/XHCI Hand-off
  • OS type: Windows 8.1/10 UEFI Mode
  • DVMT Pre-Allocated(iGPU Memory): 256MB
  • SATA Mode: AHCI

i have a person asus zenbook i7 1065g7 ice lake config list nearly same as mine can you make config modify like that

He used HotPatch way i think he is improved person to Hakintosh, so tell him help you direct if he can, but my EFI i am sure its very well but need some set can you search, good luke ,,

Hello Guys! A newbie here, 

 

So, after a long time of trying and failing I installed BigSur from @bss111 EFI. But I am not getting graphics acceleration. Wifi is good. Audio is broken but usb earphones work. HDMI not working. Extremely laggy.  Trackpad working perfectly (ELAN). Keyboard is working as well but I am not sure wether it is mapped correctly. 

So, if anyone can help me get graphics acceleration , I will be eternally grateful .Please, at this stage I am desperate. ☺️ Thanks!

Here are my specs: 

ASUS Vivobook S15

Nvidia MX 250 (I have already given up hopes on this one :(

Which efi u used I am unable to install big sur I have x409ja asus vivobook please share that

I think you have comet lake processor not ice lake you need to patch  what your processor u or g ending

Bro, this is not working. I think because of my iGPU not being supported officially by apple. You can 'spoof' the device ID, right? Could you explain that please.

can you share your big sur config.plist without graphics which you installed big sur on your hdd or ssd as i am not able to boot the usb and i need to install big sur and then finalise the system i have attempted 20 times in modifiying config.

Brother i help all free, so give me your ACPI folder by bootclover F4 or by windows ( all ACPI ) i wil prepeare EFI for you,

i5-10210U is a 10 th gen comet lake u series supporting uhd 630 graphics not an ice lake processor .You can patch graphics using hackintool or i can modify your config for graphics.  here you can see my catalina working with iris retina vp g7 i3 1005g1

10 th gen intel released 14nm and 10 nm variants 10 nm lately known as ice lake and 14 nm called comet lake remodelled or high variant of comet (kaby lake) as far i know

Take your EFI :

1. ACPI.zip

2. config.plist.zip

Change only that up.

use old your EFI OR > https://www.dropbox.com/s/ca107s9j0bbranq/NEW-EFI-ASUS-VivoBook-14-OC_6.3-( 17-NOV-2020 ).zip?dl=0

There s patch for UHD for coffee & comet lake
