Hello, I’ve an Asus G73SW laptop with the following specs: - Processor: Core i7-2630QM -> Sandy Bridge - Grapich card: Nvidia Geforce GTX460M - Chipset: HM65 A few years ago I’ve succesfull installed macOS Sierra 10.12.6 on this laptop. Since last month Apple doesn’t support the OS anymore so it’s impossible to update my iTunes and synchronise the photo’s with my iPhone (main reason to do a hackintosh). So I decided to update the macOS to Catalina 10.15.7. Unfortunately with no luck. I will describe the steps I’ve been done. 1) Downloaded ‘Catalina 10.15.7 with EFI folder for chipset series 300, 400 and 500’ from this link: https://www.olarila.com/topic/6278-olarila-vanilla-images-macos-installer/ 2) Created with ‘Bootdiskutility’ an bootable USB with (latest) Clover installed 3) Downloaded ‘NOTEBOOKS CHIPSET SERIES 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Download’ from this link: https://www.olarila.com/topic/5676-hackintosh-efi-folder-with-clover-and-opencore/ 4) Removed existing EFI folder from USB and copy/paste the EFI folder from the download above 5) Boot from USB and start the installer 6) Installer stuck after a few seconds (see screenshot 1) Then I was thinking and check what I had to do to reach the installer with the Sierra installation. To reach that installer I had to put a few drivers into this direction ‘USB\EFI\CLOVER\drivers\UEFI’. The drivers I need where CsmVideoDxe-64.efi (to have fullscreen in bootloader), HFSPlus-64.efi and OsxAptioFix3Drv.efi (to reach installer). Let’s try to boot the Catalina installer with the drivers I need for the Sierra installation. The installers goes a little bit further but also got stuck (see screenshot 2). Ok, I was able to install macos catalina and fix the wifi problem. The next problem (I think it's a problem) is that catalina macos are very slow. My mouse is slow and has some bugs in safari. My PC: Processor: Intel Core i7 3630QM Memory: 8GB DDR3 OS: macOS Catalina 10.15.7 GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000

Olá pessoal, Depois de 10 meses usando o Catalina com tudo funcionando perfeitamente, 2 portas usb 2.0 param de funcionar. Fui tentar utilizar a instalação do Olarila Big Sur 13.3.1 e após fazer o procedimento utilizando o Etcher, reiniciei o pc e ao entrar no boot da instalação as portas usb que estavam o mouse e o teclado pararam de funcionar. Voltei ao Catalina e continuam sem funcionar somente essas duas portas, como se estivessem inativas, no windows está tudo normal. Alguém poderia me dizer o que pode ser? I change the display from GT620 to HD 7850 (card id: 68191002) which can be native support on catalina. But can not load into OS, always black monitor off or hang. Attached the clover and ACPI, Please help to check it? origin.zip config.plist.zip

Hi MaLd0n! My problem is black screen after patching config.plist for UHD 620. In this case my MiniPC is accessible by ARD. Hackintool shows "VDA Decoder Fully Supported". Hi Sir. im installing opencore catalina but there are some issues .my laptop Hp Probook 4540s core i7 cpu 3632qm 3rd generation ivy bridge HHD when i boot with kext its showing error in pic 1 when i boot without kexts its showing error in pic 2 its my EFI folder 1.rar 2.rar EFI.rar WhatsApp Image 2021-03-09 at 6.09.15 PM.rar

Hello y’all. First of all, I’ll tell you my specs: - Motherboard: ASUS prime H370 plus - processor: Intel i9 5600k -graphics: integrated; Intel UHD Graphics 630 - RAM: Kingston 16 GB DDR4; So, right after verbose, my monitor goes totally black and lose signal entirely. I assume it’s something related to Framebuffer and following this Guide, I’m told that my motherboard is subject to black screen issues, but it doesn’t give necessary information on how to fix it. After looking around, I think I have “teach” macOS to recognize my HDMI port. Anyone has any idea? Someone with same motherboard can help me? Thanks in advance

Inicialmente segui o tutorial vanilla da Dortania e em seguida o guia do WEG ensinando como fazer patch para a iGPU (UHD 630) e testei TODAS as combinações de framebuffer e device-id disponíveis... Nada funciona a não ser o modo VESA (fica em 7mb, bugs na tela, na aceleração, sem usar VESA fica parado em IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0). VESA (utilizando igfxvesa) é a única forma de chegar na desktop. Estou usando o OpenCore 0.64 e as últimas versões dos kexts lilu e weg. Alguma sugestão, pessoal? Eu realmente não sei mais o que tentar...
