  1. I got Snow Leopard installed successfully. Thanks. How do I install kexts? I got a kext for my NIC but I still don't have internet connectivity. I tried putting it in /Sytem/Library/Extensions and /Network, but that didn't work. Also, how do I install the bootloader?
  2. dd doesn't work for me. I got SUSE Studio imagewriter on my centos box. Anyway, I finally got Snow Leopard installed with these boot options:"-x -v -f acpi=off PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No"(without quotes). However, when I boot from the installation, it fails. I've tried different combinations of boot options, but none of them seem to work.
  3. Thank you. By the way, I use linux so there is no program for transferring files. However, I found a way to transfer files to an hfs+ volume on linux. Where should I post how to do it?
  4. When I boot from the USB, it always fails. If I use Clover, it says "loading drivers" with a bunch of dots, but after several lines of dots, the last couple of dots go blurry, and it restarts. If I use Chameleon, it reverts to text after loading all of the extensions, and just sits there.
  5. Is there any way to make a hackintosh out of my computer then?
  6. It still boots to the blank screen. does video kexts include /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphics*.kext?
  7. It doesn't reboot now, but the screen goes blank and stays that way.
  8. Hello. When I boot from my flash drive, I get the boot options prompt. No matter what I type, It loads all the extensions(at least I think they are extensions), then my computer reboots.
