    Hello everyone.

I've decided to update my work rig but my pci cards aren't working:
    - i7 5960X
    - Asus X99 E WS
    - 32Go DDR3
    - NVME SSD
    - RX5700XT

    PCIe cards added:
    - Added Asus XG-C100C
    - Blackmagic Decklink 4K

So I went to OpenCore (for the first time haha) and it was hard!
But the system "work", except for the 2 cards.
They are detected, I don't know why, it's not working, I've added the Mieze patch for the Aquantia and the Decklink use to work OOB.

I've tryed to add the PCI config into OpenCore, I've tryed to removed them, tryed MacPro 6.1 and MacPro 7.1, but still it's not working.
I've try to add the hackintool PCI for them, renaming the slot name whith the good slots, but still even if the name into system report is good,
I've also try to add DSDT from DPCIManager,

they still show: Driver manager: Not installed

    Any clue / help ?

    Thanks

    Hi

I hope you won't mind my using your EFI with my MSI SLI + and i7-5820K hack. It booted fine but booting hung at about 50% of the progress bar. See screenshot attached. I thought I had finally found a working EFI for my needs, but I have not. I feel there is very little wrong that needs to be modified for your EFI to work but I have no idea what. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

    Thanks

  2. Hi

Did I make a mistake in choosing a MSI Z390-A PRO LGA1151 motherboard for me i3-8100 cpu? I am asking because I cannot get the built in HD 630 graphics to work. I installed Big Sur using  Olarila chipset folder for 300 series motherboard and the installation was very easy. Is there a way to make the internat HD 630 graphics to work? Right now I am using a GT 710 video card, but I'd rather use the built in graphics.

    Thanks

  3. Here is my hardware Asus X99 AII. LGA 2011 V3 + Intel Xeon E52609 V4 1.7 GHz+ Nvidia GT 710. Of course, I have a EFI which I am trying to attach to this reply but I am told that its zip size is too large to be uploaded here. How can I send it to you?

Thanks in advance for your help.

we can use uefi drivers from oc in clover. is the best solution, no more aptiomemoryfix

    Hi

I tried all the solutions you suggested and I still cannot get the computer to boot either from the hard drive or from the usb installer that used to work very well on this computer before the upgrade. I give up. Too bad because it was my favourite computer! I will have to use it on Windows only.

    Thanks for your kind assistance.

  5. Hi

I have that hackintosh X99 MSI SLI Plus + i7 5820K that worked perfectly before I updated to Clover 5122 and Catalina 10.15.6 supplemental update. Since then I cannot boot from the hard drive that worked well before the update neither from the usb installer drive. I wanted to reinstall Catalina but I always get an error that prevents me from getting to the installation window. Please, find the origin folder attached and tell me if you can help me with this problem.

It is an atermiter x79g. I have same and it works well with clover but and OpenCore only with two ram modules in the green slots

    Hi

I was able to install Catalina using Open Core but I hav no audio since I don't know the audio codec used by this board. Do you happen to know what codec it is?

    Thanks

  7. Sorry I did not see your reply until now. I know I have 8 gigs of ram installed but I don't remember if it is one stick or not. I will check that out and let you know.

I had no idea I could use OpenCore on this motherboard.

    Thanks

Just checked the ram installed: one 8 gigs ram in green slot. I am going to order a second one.
